AR9271 is an 802.11b/g/n Wireless USB WiFi adapter. It provides users to launch 802.11b/g/n wireless network at 150 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band, which is also compatible with 802.11b/g wireless devices at 54 Mbps. AR9271 is compatible to higher-performance, multi-stream, MIMO based 802.11n, and are available in reference designs to serve the networking, PC and consumer electronics markets.
Install the driver for WLAN, The adapter’s Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation procedures for Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
(1). From Windows Explorer, open ” Computer Management” .
(2). In the ” Computer Management” left pane, select ” Device Manager” .
(3). In the ” Device Manager” right pane, locate and expand ” Network Adapter” .
(4). In ” Network Adapter” , right-click the name of the device you connected, and then select ” Update Driver Software” .
(5). In the “Hardware Update” wizard, select Browse “my computer for driver software” and click Next.
(6). Click ” Browse” and then locate the Driver folder. For example, the WLAN Driver is located in ” D:\Drivers\AR9271\ “
(7). Click Next to install the driver.
