Touchpad Driver Download for Lenovo Thinkpad X230 X240 X250 X260 X270

This is the Left and Right Mouse with 3 Buttons keys, compatible with Lenovo Thinkpad X230 X240 X250 X260 X270 Laptop series.

Please install the driver before used: Synaptics touchpad driver 18.0.7.57 from ThinkPad website.

How to install the driver?

1. Download the Synaptics driver for your PC model: (DO NOt install yet!)
   https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/n10gw27w.exe (For Win7/8/8.1)
   https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/gggr07ww.exe (For Win10)
   Please install the driver before used: Synaptics touchpad driver from
   ThinkPad website.

A: Uninstall the touchpad driver and restart, then update touchpad driver (If the driver is not
compatible with the system, operation steps B.)
B: Uninstall the touchpad driver, restart, and update the driver ( If the driver is not compatible
with the system, operation steps C.)

C: 1. Uninstall old driver

2. Update the B Driver
3. Goto device manager, select properties of mouse, then update driver (select the
   manual file the “Apfiltr.inf” update per your advice.)
4. Restart, on this step PC will have one unknown driver (Synaptic SM Driver).

If normal, do not need to update driver. If work is not normal, please install the
following method.

2. Go to Control Panel\Programs and UNinstall your current Synaptics/Alps drivers.
3. Reboot
